HDI PAYS VISIT TO NTA CHANNEL 10

Human Development Initiatives(HDI), a leading non-governmental organization in Lagos recently paid a courtesy visit the management of NTA Channel 10 Lagos as part of efforts to strengthen its advocacy on child’s right, counseling and empowerment for widows’, governance and accountability with collaboration of grassroots media.

The Leader of the delegation, Mr. Samuel Ajayi, a Programme Officer explained that HDI has remained at the fore front of humanitarian and system strengthening activities through its various activities which include; Widow’s support programme, scholarship Scheme for the less privileges, happy and sad boxes, life-skill training, education and fiscal governance amongst others.

According to him, “It is our desire to establish robust partnership with your organization to amplify our calls for good governance and air some of our public enlightenment messages which is aimed at correcting various societal ills” Ajayi further explained that the organization recently developed an app called “Voice out” on android play store which members of the public can use to report issues for prompt attention.

The General Manager, Mrs. Efe Soriyan, who was represented by Mrs. Eyitemi Judge received the team from HDI and reiterated the stations resolve to work with the NGO in various areas of partnership to ensure that the grassroots benefit tremendously from their various interventions adding that their media station is a friendly one.

She appreciated the organization for its giant strides and encouraged them to keep the good work going with hope of a better society.
